Community Interest Company based in Saffron Walden.
This is a growing customer facing role with the emphasis on building and maintaining a loyal client base, within an expanding non-profit group. A varied position in a lively café where we encourage both personal and professional development.

Role:
Daily Smooth Running of the Kitchen, Menu Planning – costing, creating new dishes and maintaining 5-star food hygiene standards.
Stock Control: Supplier Liaison, Ordering, Invoices, Stock Counting, Wastage Control
Due Diligence: Food Hygiene, H&S Records & Cleaning Rosters.
Training Support: Working closely with students to develop their skills, Sharing knowledge and experience.
Diverse and Inclusive team: Supportive and encouraging environment.

Candidate Profile:
Some experience preferred, but full training will be given within a quality operation.
The ability to work in a fast-paced service – up to 80 covers.
Must have consistent work experience and be looking for a long term role.
Strong communication, organisation & ability to mentor, motivate & train our students effectively.
Genuine Passion to Cook
Genuine intention to offer long term commitment.
